Mount Kirkjufell
Mount Kirkjufell (meaning "Church Mountain") is a strikingly symmetrical, 1,519-foot (463 meter ) mountain located on the north coast of Iceland’s Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Widely celebrated as the most photographed mountain in Iceland, it rises dramatically right beside the water near the small fishing village of Grundarfjörður.
The mountain achieved global pop-culture status when it was featured in Seasons 6 and 7 of HBO's Game of Thrones. It was depicted as the eerie, ominous "Arrowhead Mountain" located north of the Wall.
