In this photo, an hour's worth of shooting for star trails, a Falcon 9 launch with the "nebula" effect from the stage separation, flip maneuver and boost-back burn. Faint clouds block out part of the rocket arc, and just above the start of the ark, ever so slightly to the right is the re-entry burn of the booster (that is not the continuation of the rocket arc).
The historic launch of Nova C IM-1 on a Falcon 9 successfully launched at 1:05 am on February 15 from Kennedy Space Center LC 39-A. For the first time since Apollo 17 in 1972, LC-39A returns to supporting Lunar missions. Carrying the Lunar Lander named
Odysseus - the Greek God known for his epic journey, it will help support NASA's Artemis program in returning to the Moon. If the lander arrives successfully, it will be the first time in over 50 years that an American spacecraft has successfully landed on the Moon.
