Birds Eye View of StormLast night was another good round of thunderstorms, this time coming in from the East toward us. It was moving so fast, I wouldn't have had much time to get my camera out to the dock for imaging so I put up the drone to video what was approaching. It was a painstaking process to pull each strike frame out of the video, but this is the end result, blended over a panoramic stitch of Lake Santa Fe from 200 feet above. I quickly brought the drone back in after a 20-minute session as the clouds approached. Click on the image to see a larger version and to see more of my storm imagery.
